We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction. Safeguards may include access controls, restricted administrative privileges, protected storage, secure transmission, vendor review, monitoring, and procedures for responding to security incidents.
Access to child and transportation information is limited to people and providers who reasonably require it for authorized operational, safety, support, or legal purposes.
No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please contact us promptly if you believe information has been accessed or used improperly.
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the specific purposes described in this policy. The applicable period depends on factors such as:
- Whether an enrollment, reservation, or transportation service remains active
- The time needed to review a route or respond to a request
- Safety, insurance, accounting, dispute, and recordkeeping requirements
- Applicable contractual and legal obligations
- Whether information is needed to prevent fraud or protect our systems
Unsubmitted drafts, abandoned uploads, replaced photographs, and information that is no longer needed are deleted or deidentified in accordance with our operational retention procedures, subject to legal holds and other lawful exceptions.
Child photographs and sensitive child-related information are not retained indefinitely. They are removed when no longer reasonably necessary for transportation, safety, or a legally required purpose.
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Provide essential website, form, and security functionality
- Remember preferences and maintain sessions
- Analyze website traffic and diagnose errors
- Measure general marketing effectiveness
You may manage nonessential cookies through available consent tools or your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect website or form functionality.
We do not combine school-enrollment information with advertising profiles or use it for behavioral advertising.
Depending on your residence and applicable law, you may have the right to:

A parent or legal guardian may submit a request concerning their child’s information. An adult authorized by the parent or guardian may also submit a request where permitted. We may take reasonable steps to verify the requester’s identity and authority before granting access, correction, deletion, or a copy of child-related information.
Submit a request by emailing connect@travelwithlux.com with the subject “Privacy Request,” or call (214) 430-1812. Please do not include sensitive information in the initial request.
If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing us with the subject “Privacy Appeal.” If an appeal is denied, Texas residents may submit a complaint to the Texas Attorney General.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. Certain information may be retained when required by law or reasonably necessary for safety, security, disputes, or other lawful purposes.
Our website may contain links to independently operated websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and we encourage you to review those notices before providing information directly to them.
Vendors that process information on our behalf are not treated as independent destinations merely because their technology supports our website or services. We require such providers to process information for authorized purposes and to apply appropriate safeguards.
Our transportation services may serve children, but our website, reservation forms, and school-transportation enrollment form are intended to be completed by adults. Children should not submit enrollment information or upload photographs directly.
Who may submit a child’s information
A child’s information may be submitted by a parent, legal guardian, or an adult acting with the parent’s or guardian’s authorization. The submitter must confirm that they are authorized to provide the information and request transportation for the child. Where required, we obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian before processing information concerning a known child under 13 or other sensitive child-related information.
Information concerning a child
We may collect the child’s name, date of birth, grade, school, transportation schedule, pickup and destination locations, authorized pickup contacts, emergency-contact information, limited safety or accommodation information, and an optional photograph.
How child-related information is used
We use child-related information only as reasonably necessary to evaluate and provide transportation, plan routes and schedules, identify the child, verify authorized pickup, communicate with parents or guardians, coordinate safety, respond to emergencies, maintain appropriate service records, and satisfy legal obligations.
Optional child photographs
A photograph is optional and is used to help authorized drivers, dispatchers, and other authorized personnel identify the child. We do not publicly display child photographs, use them for marketing, use them to build advertising profiles, or process them for facial recognition or biometric identification.
Disclosure and protection
We do not sell child-related information. We disclose it only to authorized personnel and service providers when reasonably necessary for transportation, safety, technology support, or legal compliance. We limit access and retain the information only for as long as it is reasonably necessary for those purposes.
Parent and guardian choices
A verified parent or legal guardian may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child’s information and may withdraw consent where applicable. Deleting information necessary to safely provide transportation may prevent us from providing or continuing the requested service.
Information submitted directly by a child
We do not knowingly request enrollment information directly from children. If we learn that a child submitted personal information without appropriate adult involvement or authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it or obtain legally sufficient authorization before further processing.
Contact us before submitting the enrollment form if you have questions about what information is required, how it will be used, or how to exercise a parent or guardian’s privacy choices.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.
We will post the updated policy with a revised date. If a change materially affects how we process sensitive or child-related information, we will provide additional notice and request new consent when required by applicable law.
